Connects the field-model regions of AC Magnetics or Transient Magnetics problems to an external circuit, or solves a pure circuit problem with no field analysis at all.
About This Module
In QuickField, AC Magnetics and Transient Magnetics problems can be defined together with an external circuit connected to regions of the field model. This formulation is well suited to modeling electromagnetic devices such as motors with complex winding schemes or transformers with combined loads, and it can also solve a pure circuit problem with no field analysis at all.
Electric Circuit Analysis Features
Passive elements (R, L, C) and active elements (U, I)
Loads: constant sources, sinusoidal sources, and sources with complex pulsed waveforms (source parameters can be described with a formula)
Results: voltage, current and impedance for each element; current and voltage waveforms over time
