Data Editor
Assign material properties, field sources and boundary conditions to geometry labels, with support for formula-defined values and nonlinear materials.
In QuickField, defining data means assigning physical properties to the labels used to mark the main groups of geometric primitives — edges, blocks or vertices. Each of these can be edited the same way, using the Data Editor. Data files are specific to the problem type, but the way data is presented and all the operations involved are very similar.
Boundary conditions or field sources can be specified as functions of time or coordinates. QuickField's formula feature lets you use formula-defined field values in place of fixed numbers. Nonlinear materials can also be specified.
