QuickField Object Model (ActiveField)
An object-oriented API whose objects correspond one-to-one with QuickField's interface entities, supported by any Automation-capable development tool on Windows.
ActiveField is the name of the object-oriented Application Programming Interface (API) for the QuickField finite element model. The object model is made up of objects corresponding to QuickField's user interface entities: documents, windows, geometry, data labels, XY plots, and so on. A complete description of the QuickField API objects, their methods and properties, is available at www.active.quickfield.com.
Many application development tools are available on the Windows® platform. Whether you use Delphi, Visual C++, Java, or any of the Visual Basic variants, they all support Automation. See the documentation for your development tool for more on Automation programming techniques.
