A knowledge base for AI assistants: metafile specifications, examples, tests and reference models, to reduce guesswork.
The QuickField Skills Archive is a collection of material that includes documentation, examples, tests and reference material describing the three JSON metafile types: .qfp, .qfs and .qfd.
This material helps AI assistants generate metafiles that are compatible with the actual Builder implementation, reducing the amount of guessing AI needs to do about supported commands, parameters and workflows.
The Skills Archive does not teach AI about QuickField's native file formats — native files are still created by QuickField Builders. This material only describes the JSON metafiles that serve as input to the Builders.
How to Use It
Give this material to your AI assistant and ask it to use it when generating QuickField Builder metafiles. It can be used with a range of AI systems, including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any other assistant that supports uploaded files, project knowledge bases or custom instructions.

Use the attached QuickField Skills Archive as the knowledge base for generating QuickField Builder metafiles. Do not invent unsupported commands or parameters. If required information is missing, ask before generating the files.
Once your AI assistant has access to this material, you can describe a simulation problem in natural language and ask it to generate the corresponding .qfp, .qfs and .qfd files.

Current Scope
The current material supports generating Builder metafiles for the supported 2D QuickField analyses. It does not yet cover:
- Circuit descriptions
- 3D models
- Coupled problems
These capabilities are not currently within the scope of the Builder metafile description and should not be requested from AI in Builder form.
