STEP 是 CAD 程序之间交换三维模型数据的现代格式之一，由 ISO 10303 标准定义；QuickField 6.1 及以上版本支持导入 STEP 文件。
STEP 文件是 CAD 程序之间交换三维模型数据的现代格式之一。STEP 是 STandard for the Exchange of the Product model data（产品模型数据交换标准）的缩写，其格式由国际标准化组织在 ISO 10303 文件中正式定义。
STEP 文件采用模块化结构，每个模块称为一个「类」。这些类涵盖标准本身、实现架构、一致性测试流程、资源信息模型和应用协议。也就是说，STEP 不只是一个几何数据文件。
不过，大多数现代 CAD 程序都支持把三维几何导出为该格式，因此任何一款这样的程序都可以用来创建几何模型，供 QuickField 做后续的有限元分析。STEP 文件可以导入 QuickField 6.1 及以上版本。
